Okay. This is like a continual psot from my previous idea about food wraps.
I think that the following variables should be controlled in this experiment:
- the size of each food wrap
-the food itself should be consistent(e.g. meat or fish)
-the length of time that each food is left in a frost-free environment (e.g. 2 or 3 days? before it goes off and become unfresh).
I also have a sketchy method in my mind:
1) go to supermarket and buy cling wrap, foil wrap, paper bag and a plastic wrap (e.g. fitted palstic bag)
2) cook some dinner with meat and scoop leftovers in 4 different plats wrapped with 4 different food wraps.
3) make sure it is away from a frost-free environment and leave it there for 2-3 days
4) Observe the freshness of the meat by smelling (if it went off) or observing moles forming.
5) Repeat experiment using fish
6) Then continue experimenting for the next 6 weeks alternating between fish and meat.
I know the above was suppose to be written in past tense form and in parag. I'l be editing my method for my atcual experiment. Which I'll probably start on soon!
P.S I found some of these sites VERY useful:
